The Other Woman!

Watched this movie last week and I can say it's one of the coolest movie that I've seen.

Just a light and fun movie to watch when you're just chilling from a day's stressful turnout. Not that usual "I caught my husband and I'm going to have a catfight with his other woman" thing.

And it's such a mature thing for a wife to be friends with his husband's other girls, knowing that he's cheating is simply not an easy thing to accept but being casual and actually being friends with the woman who's the reason that your heart's being broken is another thing.

For couples out there, you guys should watch this movie.

For women, for you to know what mature move you should do before going on a catfight with someone who isn't even worth it. 

And for men, for you not to cheat on your wife. You will not know what karma, or let's just say the "truth" can do to you!

This Is Me: MORISETTE!

This little girl will be celebrating her 18th Birthday in a form of a concert which happens to be literally her "Debut Concert".

Morisette started in showbiz by joining TV5's Artista Academy. Next comes the "claim to fame" part of her career; "The Voice" via Team Sarah.

Onset of the competiton, Mowie (her nickname), was labeled to be Sarah Geronimo's twin not just by the looks, but also her talent.

Now that she will turn 18, let us join her as she celebrates womanhood by giving us a show that is really worth watching for.

Candy Readers' Choice Awards 2014

It was such an amazing night! For such a long time of not attending Candy Mag events due to conflicting schedule we finally had this chance. Also, le bff and I got to meet I Know Write Manila organizers Lara and Cidee.

Plus we also get to be with Project Pie workmate and super friend and our very own Candy Cutie, Robin Garcia. Even if it was just for a short time, we had so much fun! :)

The Amazing Spider Man 2!

I know it's a little too late for this review, forgive me. I don't have much time lately to watch movies and update my blog so I'll be flooding you with blogposts about random things that happened to me recently!

Hmmm, as everyone else is saying they're sad about the ending of the second contribution. 

Before I get to watch the movie, I already know that Gwen is dying in the end, thank you spoilers! It wasn't that much of a big deal to me because I wanted to know.

Upon watching the movie, I already saw many signs that Gwen will die. First, the graduation speech, and then the note that Peter wrote beside their picture that says, "Do I have to lose you too?"

So yeah! I kind of expected it even if I don't know.. Felt bad about it yes but that was just a thing we have to watch out for on the next movie contribution, right? 

And I can't wait to see The Amazing Spiderman 3! 

Bakersfresh!

 

Fresh looking and great tasting bread in one.

We often drool when we see "fresh from the oven" bread. But once it lands our tongue, we'll feel disappointed that it does not taste as good as they look. 

A few months ago, I saw this bakeshop. It smelled good even from afar, and their products look oh so yummy! Since then, I've been itching to enter their shop and buy as much as many bread as I could. loljk! Anyway, after a few more months, me and le bff finally had the chance to buy from this pastry shop. Believe me, this one is different.

The aroma will be distracting your nostrils because you will smell it all over as you make your way up the third floor of EDSA Shangri-la Mall. Those bread and cupcakes displayed and sold on their shelves won't deceive your eyes (and your nostrils ;)) It smells, looks and tastes good all at the same time. Me and le bff, will definitely go back and try their cupcakes! Looks yummm too! :D

She's the bestfriend that everyone's looking for. Well, I'm lucky I have her already! She's always with me every step of the way. She's not just my best friend, she's my sister, my girlfriend, my cheerleader, my stylist, and my number 1 supporter! I never knew I could be this oh so clingy until I met her!

The Dog Whisperer in Manila!

My bestfriend and I are so lucky to have watched the show for FREE!

We thought that the event will be open so we decided not to purchase tickets anymore since it will be at the Eastwood City Walk.

To our surprise, upon arriving at the venue; we saw the place packed but has a black cloth covering the whole area and was so disappointed. but we didn't leave immediately because we were hoping that the organizers will be opening the area soon. 

Though disappointed, we were not the only one who hoped or assumed that the event will be open. Lots of people even brought their dogs with them with the hope that they'll get to see Cesar Millan without buying tickets because Eastwood Citywalk is an open area!

We all didn't lose hope, everyone had their own strategy on how they're not going to waste the time or the effort to be there.

Some even ate at the restaurants with second floors and be seated there to have an upper view to watch and get to listen to Cesar Millan.

This just goes to prove that Filipinos are "maabilidad" and will not let a simple thing get on their way!

As the lights begin to open, Cesar went up the stage opening his hoodie. Inside was a red jersey with a white print that says "Pilipinas" and "Millan" at the back. People were screaming and clapping with excitement as Cesar starts his show and speak a few tagalog words like "Salamat."

Just like on his show "The Dog Whisperer" which is shown on National Geographic, Cesar Millan never fails to impress us on how he is trully a "Pack Leader." What we mostly learned from his visit was, it is the owner's energy that reflects the dogs emotions. So he strongly suggested that we stay calm whenever we communicate with our dogs.

There were also several people from the audience that sought advice from Cesar regarding their dogs' awful attitude/emotions on certain things. And The Dog Whisperer, as usual, amazes everyone as he makes the dog follow his commands. It was like a magic show. Everyone was in awe every time Cesar does his thing on dogs. :)) He also encouraged his audience to be "over confident" when giving their dogs commands. Show the dog the you are his owner, and you are the "Pack Leader."

Millan ended his show by sharing Kabang's (The Hero Dog from Zamboanga) story and how he was amazed with Dog's martyrdom. He also signed stuff from his audience and said that he felt the Filipinos' warm welcome and enjoyed his whole stay in the Philippines.  And, YES! He'll be back soon!
